T-SHIRTS! I quite adore making them, and it didn’t hit me until when I put them together to take pictures how many I actually have. O_o. I’ve been wanting to put photo’s of them up for a long time now – since I first started making them a few years back – but I didn’t want to upload them all separately and have them clog up my gallery. Since I completed another one this morning, I thought what the hell and started assembling them for pictures. Yes, I do like my shirts 78438473 sizes too big. :XD: Funnily enough, the smallest shirts that actually belong to me here are dyed on old shirts of my father, size L. The ones I provided shirts for myself were all XL or bigger. :’]

Warning: This will be a long-ass ramble about each of them. Run while you still can.

1. Spiral tie-dye for my little brother, in terms of multi-color tie-dye, I think this might’ve been the best I’ve done. The colors remained relatively vibrant in comparison to the rest made before it. It is kind of a pity, since I did buy a bit of an expensive base shirt for this one and he only wears it as pajama-shirt primarily. Oh well.

2. Little under-shirt thing for my little sister Luna. (Hemd in Dutch… not sure of the proper translation.) IT’S SO TINY. :XD: Heh. Yeah. It had a few rings and things […rhyme] on it, but they kinda faded in the wash. She never wears it much, and the main reason I made it for her is because she felt left out because Zoë and Bibo got something, and Lars came over to do a shirt, blablabla. But now the weather’s warmer she’s had it on a few times. Makes me happy to see :3.

3. This belongs to my mother. I actually quite like this, I’ll have to borrow it from her sometime… very 70’s. Began as, if I recall correctly, just a white thing. The little designs and beads where already on there.

4. Ah yes. One of those less than original things, but.. ya know. I wanted to buy one, but the shipping costs are usually a pain in the ass… I think I’ll eventually still order one, but for now this suffices. Didn’t hand-dye this, bought a plain gray shirt, and transfer paper is your friend. I did kind of smudge the end of the ‘Miskatonic’, but gimme a break, I’d never done this before.

5. If you’ve seen my gallery, this might look familiar from my 7th ID [ [link] ]. Made the shirt prior to the ID itself. The bottom was originally supposed to be black :XD:. It went kind of gray-darkgreenish over time, but oh well. I’ve wanted to re-dye it, but the last time I went tie-dying, they didn’t have black =______=. Ah well. I’ll get around to that.

6. It’s a rainbow from left to right. Not much to say for it, it’s pretty obvious. I like the dripping-down effect it has going on. The huge amount of red used kind of gave it a pinkish base tone, which I think makes it look a bit aged; I was disappointed when it came out of the washer this way, but I’ve grown attached to it.

7. I think this was the first shirt I ever tie-dyed.. I’m not sure. At any rate it was –among- the first batch. Does it show how incredibly fond I am of the spiral technique :XD:? This shirt is among my favourites, and I do wear it quite a bit.

8. The first multi-color tie-dye I did~ I like it, although it didn’t turn out as vibrant as my brothers. I love this one. <3

9. Heh. This actually used to be a very white shirt with dark red ‘blood’ on it. Made it for part of a Halloween costume a few years back for some party. ‘T was part of my Mad Professor costume, and this year’s Elf Fantasy Fair it served the same role for Lars. For the EFF there were a few green stains added to go along with the green stuff in his hair, but it’s not really visible on the picture.

10. Not much to say about this one. Pretty plain, don’t wear it too often… It actually looks better on the picture than it does in real life, the colors are quite bland (more so than in the purple one, although the pictures make it seem the other way around) but oh well.

11. This one is OLD. I think the oldest of all shirts here. Not that old, but I think it’s atleast from 2006… I don’t really like it. I still like the basic idea I had, but… egh. No. It looks more like an oddly colored mushroom than it looks like a UFO with like..a beam-thing going on. (Yes, it was supposed to be a UFO. No, I also find it hard to tell.) You can’t really see it on the picture, but the middle e has two little antennae, a sort-of signature thing I like to do when writing that word. I’ve been wanting to redesign it digitally ever since (and again, if you’ve seen my 7th ID [link] , you know I haven’t forgotten all about it…) and get it printed somewhere. But I am just so. Damn. LAZY. :XD:

12. Uh, same story as 10 and 7, basically. This was also among that first batch. Started as black, but is now a tint of gray.

Yes, there’s more. I’m sorry. :XD: Shirts, and some pants, too.

Also still funny, that one time you wore shirt number 5. and walked into your living room and saw me sitting there in a shirt almost similar to it:XD: wearing it now
